The bride received a master's degree in physical anthropology from University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she is employed. Fricke graduated from Bismarck High School in 1973 and received a master's degree in cultural anthropology from of where he is studying towards a Ph.D. degree in cultural anthropology. The bride graduated from Winona State Coliege in 1977 with a B.S. degree in English education. She was employed by Port Edwards (Wis.) Public Schools. Vraspir recevied a B.A. in history from WSU in 1977.
