County emergency manager Becky Ault said local, state, federal and Canadian authorities will be involved. The exercise is'iped-uled to last three hours. "There will be a (simulated) chemical incident and a secondary bomb device incident," Ault said. "We're just going to play through and see how we all can work together and how our plans work." "People keep asking me logo and, whether I'm ready to go or not, I go," she said. Jenson, born in 1908, has lived in Neche all her life. Her mother's, family came from Ireland and her father's family from Scotland.

Jenson's family was among the first to settle in the region and she has many stories to tell including one about an uncle who was a rural mail carrier and organized one of the first mail routes in Neche. She graduated from Neche High School in 1926. She taught school for a year and then married Harold Jenson who died in 1994. She and her husband Jenson, who turned 96 on July 1, writes weekly articles in the Cavalier Chronicle and the Walhalla Mountaineer, and a local history column entitled "Thru the Years." Her first Neche news article appeared in the Thursday, Dec. 11, 1958, issue of the Cavalier Chronicle, said Chronicle Editor Lynn Schroeder.
