Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, at First Congregational Church, Garrison. Burial will be in Garrison City Cemetery. lian and Alice.

(Jaime) Anderson, Okinawa, Japan; six grandchildren, McKenzie, Madison, Seth, Gabriel, Mason and Isaac; one sister, Jody (Howard) McLean, Argyle; and one brother, Duane (Leah) Anderson, West Fargo. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Leona Anderson, Grand Forks; one brother-in-law, Ron Anderson, Milwaukee; four stepsisters, Debbie Bjerke, Mayville, Monarae (Mike) Hjeldness, Thompson, Diane (Terry) Moe, Bottineau, and Francine (Kraig) Hunter, Elbow Lake, one stepbrother, Tommy Gryskiewicz, Argyle; and numerous step-nieces and step-nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Lee Anderson; his parents; and his stepfather, Anton Gryskiewicz. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church, belonging to the Naomi Circle, ladies aid and civic club. Ida retired at age 78 due to sight problems. In 1994, she moved into the Quinco Apartments in Garrison.

Apparently, she wasn't quite ready to retire and moved back into her home less than a year later. She later moved to the McLean Manor and Benedictine Living Center, both in Garrison, before moving to a private care facility in Washburn, and most recently to Marion Manor Healthcare Center in Glen Ullin. Ida is survived by a daughter, Leona "Lee" M. (Erwin) Bitz, Bismarck; two sons, Dennis E. (Elaine) Schock, Kenmare, and Vernon T.

(Georgia) Schock, Fargo; two brothers, Arthur (Clarice) and Samuel Eslinger, all of Garrison; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted; one daughter, Arlene Zietz; five sisters; seven brothers; and several nieces and nephews. Fuchs, 79, Bismarck, formerly of Center, passed away on May 16, 2009, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at Perry Funeral Home, Mandan, with the Rev. Chris Alexander officiating. Committal will be held at 3 p.m.

in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Benjamin Fuchs 1 There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place. Bennie was born July 22, 1929, in Paradise, N.D., to Philip and Rose (Neher) Fuchs. He attended school and graduated from Carson High School. On Aug.

26, 1947, he joined the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict on the USS Philippine Sea. He was honorably discharged on Aug. 24, 1951. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, American Veterans, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He married the love of his life, Frances Berger, on Aug. 16, 1954, at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Center. After his time in the Navy, he joined the Teamsters Union and worked on large dams and housing projects all around the western part of the country. In 1991, he retired and returned to Center.

Bennie enjoyed working on vehicles and gadgets, reading western novels and solving puzzles. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances; one daughter, Rosalie (Patrick) Dingus, Bismarck; two sons, Mark (Janet) Fuchs and Jack Fuchs, both of Canyon County, four grandchildren, Christopher, Abraham, Alona and Benjamin; and two sisters-in-law, Lil ments are pending with Bismarck Funeral Home. "Andy" Darryl Anderson Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with a vigil service beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Andy was born June 10, 1944, to Wendell and Bemice Anderson in Argyle, Minn. Andy graduated from Argyle High School in 1962, and started working for Border States Electric while in Grand Forks, continuing his education at Aakers Business College. He graduated from college in 1964 and enlisted in the Army. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1967 and returned to work at Border States Electric, where he was transferred to Fargo. On June 1, 1968, he was united in marriage with Barbara Anderson.

Together, they had three children, James, Michelle and Jennifer. In 1984, Andy was transferred to Bismarck as the in-town salesperson. Andy retired from Border States Electric after 41 years of service in March 2006. Andy had a great passion for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing on the Missouri River and his biannual fishing trips with his friends to northern Canada.

Andy also enjoyed hunting, especially pheasants around Bismarck and mule deer in the badlands. Ida was born June 7, 1913, to Emmanuel and Elizabeth (Schwartz) Eslinger in McLean County, where she was raised, baptized, confirmed and educated. Ida married Theodore "Ted" Schock on July 28, 1930.

They made their home and farmed northeast of Garrison for 12 years. They then moved into Garrison, where they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Ted died in 1965 and Ida continued to live in Garrison. She married Karl Narum of Douglas in 1969. Karl resides at the McLean Manor in Garrison.

In all her years, Ida worked at hospitals, did lots of babysitting and caring for the elderly. She also cooked as the Sigma Sigma Sorority House in Minot. She loved playing cards, quilting and was an avid gardener, who was especially known for her 78840 Cash Value OOU.
