Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Kevin Olson UNDERWOOD Kevin C. Olson, 30, Underwood, died unexpectedly April 26, 2009, at his home. Jeff Higbie Nancy Fetch Nancy Fetch, 73, Bismarck, died at home on April 29, 2009, surrounded by her loving family.

Eileen Ell FARGO Eileen Ell, 88, Fargo, formerly of Forest River, passed away April 28, 2009, while staying with her son, Mike Ell, and his family in Bismarck. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Faith United Methodist Church, Fargo. Burial will be held at a later date in Forest River Cemetery. Reuben Benz DUNN CENTER Reuben Benz, 82, Dunn Center, passed away April 25, 2009, at Hill Top Home of Comfort, Killdeer.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. MDT Friday, May 1, at Normanna Lutheran Church, Dunn Center, with the Rev. Joel Sauerwein officiating. Burial will be in Dunn Center Cemetery. Geraldine Heinsohn Geraldine "Geri" Heinsohn, 77, Mandan, died April 29, 2009, at her home, with her loving family by her side.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Patrick Schumacher as celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date in Mandan Union Cemetery.

tm ji hj.ii jvf-. 9 mi Eileen Reuben Benz Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. MDT today at Stevenson Funeral Home, Killdeer, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. MDT. Reuben Benz was born Oct.

25, 1926, to Frank and Barbara (Unterseher) Benz on the family farm in Dunn County. Reuben grew up with 11 siblings and attended country school in Dunn County. After school, he continued to work on the Benz family farm for a number of years. At a dance in Dunn Center, Reuben met Janet Pelton and the two were married on Nov. 23, 1947.

To this union, eight children were born. The couple made their home on the Pelton Coal Mine until they moved into Dunn Center in 1953. In the early 1960s, Reuben began working for Northern Improvement as a heavy equipment operator and did so until he retired. Reuben and Janet continued to live in Dunn Center for the rest of their days. He liked to garden and make sausage, and every fall, they canned and distributed their goods to all.

Reuben was known as the "Official Fix-It Man" in Dunn Center. He was a very good neighbor and helped all those who needed a hand. Reuben was a faithful member of the Normanna Lutheran Church, Dunn Center Fire Department, town council and the church council. He had a love for his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Reuben always greeted everyone with a smile.

Reuben is survived by three sons, Robert Benz, Great Falls, Nick (Becky) Benz, Dunn Center, and Tom (Twila) Benz, Killdeer; four daughters, Barbara Bentz, Dickinson, Deborah (Albert) Pavlicek, Dickinson, Fammie Heupel, Bismarck, and Carrie (Wayne) Oukrop, Billings, 21 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren; his brothers, Harold (Rosa) Benz, Killdeer, and Frank (Joyce) Benz, Loveland, his sisters, Irene Wilhelm, Circle, and Darlene Weisz, Ankeny, Iowa; his sisters-in-law, Ruby Benz, Dunn Center, Peggy Benz, Killdeer, Maureen Benz, Killdeer, Louise Benz, Bismarck, and Sandra Benz, Killdeer; and a dear friend, Emma Kamka, Bismarck. 19, 1935, in Pawtucket, R.I., the daughter of Royal C. and Dorothy (O'Riley) Parkinson. She graduated from Bismarck High School. She worked at Scott's Dime Store, where she met the love of her life, Wilfred "Willie" Fetch. They were married on May 28, 1952, at St.

Mary's Catholic Church in Bismarck. She later worked at Red Owl Grocery Store, was a librarian for the Bismarck Public Schools for 13 years and was a clerk in the vital records division of the North Dakota State Health Department for 13 years. After Nancy retired in 1998, she enjoyed her time volunteering at Medcenter One. Nancy's greatest loves in life were her family and her beloved dog, Rocky. She is survived by heir husband, Willie, Bismarck; her children, Al (Joy) Fetch, PuntaGorda, Deb (Bob) Dolajak, Jim (Lori) Fetch, Cindy (Wade) Anderson, Kelly (Curt) Jundt and Lori (Tony) Turitto, all of Bismarck, and Conni (Kevin) Allmaras, Carrington; 22 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

(Everson Funeral Home, Williston) Vivian Bauer Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. today at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, and continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Vivian Ruth was born May 3, 1920, in McClusky, the daughter of Peter and Annet-ta (Haas) Hoffman. She was raised and educated near McClusky. At the age of 16, Vivian ventured out to California, where she worked in a cannery.

She returned to McClusky in 1937 and married Alvin Bauer on Sept. 3, 1938. In 1954, they moved to Bismarck, where Vivian worked at JC Penney Co. for more than six years. In 1960, she began an 18-year employment with Conlins Furniture, where she worked in the drapery department She continued to do sideline sewing of draperies and clothing alterations; she claimed only to be "tired, not retired." Vivian was a member of Bismarck Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was at one time the White Cross chairperson and four-year president of Women's Missionary Society.

Her faith was strong. She believed in following the Lord's direction as much as humanly possible and keeping God close to her in prayer. Vivian was at peace being by herself, and spent many quiet hours reading the Bible. She was a member of Homemakers Club in and near McClusky, and at one time won first place in a sewing contest in Grand Forks. She loved to sew, quilt and cross-stitch, and was not one to be idle.

She also treated her family and friends to her good cooking and baked goods. She enjoyed reading, traveling, (she and Alvin visited all but five states in the U.S.) and listened to sacred music. Most important to Vivian was her family and friends. She believed in caring and sharing and exemplified this philosophy by always being available to others. Vivian deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those who survive her, including two daughters and sons-in-law, Dian and Dennis Dockter, Stewartville, and Sheila and Jerry Auch, Bismarck; four grandchildren, LuEvan Padgett and her husband, Denny, Jodi Larson and her husband, James, Tammy Fish, and her husband, Mark, and Scott Auch and his wife, Liane; five great-grandchildren, Kylie and Jordan Padgett, Nicholas and Grace Larson, and Emma Auch; her sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Harvey Lyman, Jamestown; her brothers and two sisters-in-law, Harvey and Alice Hoffman, Rugby and Robert and Corrine Hoffman, Baldwin; and many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin; her brothers, Walter and Herbert Hoffman; one baby brother, Wal-damere; and one baby sister, Olivia. Arrangements are pending with Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. 1 Kevin Olson Kevin Curtis Olson was born Oct.

9, 1978, in Garrison, the son of Colin and Melva (Else) Olson. At the age of 4, Kevin received his first motorcycle and enjoyed racing until the age of 10, when he was the youngest motocross racer to take the state title in the 80cc division. Throughout Kevin's high school years, he was a standout athlete, especially in football. He received the honor of Iron Man and was a First TeamAll-State member. Kevin played in the Shrine Bowl and was invited to play in the Down Under Bowl in Australia.

He graduated from Underwood High School in 1997 and was given a full-ride scholarship to play football at Minot State Universi- ty- After one year of college, Kevin was unable to continue playing football due to a motorcycle injury. In the summer of 1998, he moved to Fort Collins, where he was employed as a surveyor assistant. Within three months of employment, he taught himself to operate all of the technical surveying equipment and was promoted to crew chief. Kevin worked for various engineering firms in Colorado, Minnesota and North Dakota. He also worked on several oil rigs around western North Dakota.

Kevin's proudest accomplishment was being a daddy to Taylor, Hannah and Hunter. He loved spending time with his children and was very proud of all three of them. It broke his heart not to be able to share in their lives all of the time. Kevin is remembered for being a wonderful uncle to his three nephews who admired him greatly and enjoyed spending time with him. Kevin will be forever remembered for his extreme intelligence, his caring ways and his passion for family togetherness.

His smile could light up the room and his personality drew people to him. Kevin will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Taylor Olson, DeForest, and Hannah Olson, Arden Hills, one son, Hunter Olson, Arden Hills; his mother, Melva Olson, Underwood; his father, Colin Olson, Underwood; his sister, Holly Olson, Coleharbor; three lov-ing nephews, Brennan Hanna, Braydon Olson and Bodie Hanna, all of Coleharbor; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Heidi Hanna; and his grandparents, Melvin and Florence Else and Iliff and Elinor Olson. Services were held on March 9, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Mount Vernon. She is survived by her husband, Frank; her son, Michael, Kansas; her daughter, Kay Flack, Mount Vernon; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother, Jack Berger; and her sisters, Monica Fischer, Veronica Baar and Cathy Barta. Eileen Elsie Woods was born July 14, 1920, to the late Walter and Myra (Jamieson) Woods in Forest River.

She graduated from the Forest River High School in 1937. On Jan. 31, 1959, she married Carl Ell in Fargo. Eileen was a member of United Chapter No. 19 Order of Eastern Star.

She was a member of the Forest River American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary Fargo and Faith United Methodist Church, Fargo. She enjoyed working in her yard and going to the lakes in Minnesota. She and her husband, Carl, spent many summers at their cabin at Ice Cracking Lake. Eileen is survived by her son, Mike (Lana) Ell, Bismarck; her granddaughter, Kathryn; her grandson, Jacob; and her great-granddaughter, Aubree, all of Bismarck; her brother, John M. (Margaret) Woods, Forest River; her sister-in-law, Margaret M.

Woods, Forest River; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Ell, Fargo; and 10 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; her brother, Robert G. Woods; her sister, Annette Woods; and her great-nephew, John M. Woods. Geri was born Nov. 1, 1931, in Kramer to William and lone (Honadel) Holz. Raised and educated in Bottineau, she graduated from Bottineau High School as salutatorian and attended two years of college there. Always an excellent athlete, while in school Geri actively played basketball, volleyball and ran in track events. On March 26, 1950, she married Harlan Heinsohn in Bottineau.

Together, they had four wonderful children. Family was central in her life, and Geri was an amazing mother, kind and loving; she made every day special. The traditional holidays were always at her home, where she shared her warm hospitality with those she loved. Geri's athletic abilities were always a part of her, to the extent of being able to play golf into her mid-70s. As an active member of the Mandan Golf Association, she participated in many tournaments many of which she won and proudly displayed the trophies in her home.

She was a strong supporter of the Mandan Braves girls' basketball team, in particular her granddaughter, a regular player. In addition to actively participating in sports, she was an avid fan of many. Her favorite team was the Green Bay Packers and in golf, she favored Arnold Palmer. Geri looked forward to bridge games and tournaments. Those who were blessed to know her will remember her sense of humor, strong independence, a sense of fairness for all, her no-nonsense attitude and her favorite saying, "True Blue." Left with many fond memories include her husband of 59 years, Harlan, Mandan; three daughters, Linda Pilgrim, Bismarck, and Lori Heinsohn and Karen (Reid) Katzung, both of Mandan; her son, Mike Heinsohn, Lincoln; six grandchildren, Ali and Liz Pilgrim, Ryan and Cate Heinsohn, Kasey Schlosser and Lauren Katzung; one sister, Elaine (Jerry) Kopp, Modesto, and two brothers, Milton Holz, Michigan, and Dr.
