Saturday. February 20. 1999 The Bismarck Tribune Page SA DEATHS -WoinniQini assay sdtecjos Ifosir Sin CIMon 1 970s Mrs. Broaddrick said she was in Little Rock for a nursing home seminar the next week and called campaign headquarters and arranged to meet him for coffee at the hotel where she was staying. Clinton suggested they have coffee in her room, she said.

In the hotel room, Clinton forced her to have sex, Mrs. Broaddrick told the Journal in a detailed account "I was sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton," Mrs. Broaddrick told The Associated Press in a brief interview Friday. In the AP interview, she said she did not go to the police at the time "because of the mentality of the 70s. There I was, I was married, I was also in a relationship with another man, and I was there alone in a hotel room with the attorney general and I didn't think anyone would possibly believe me." Asked why she was telling her story now, she said she was countering rumors that she had been bribed and intimidated to stay quiet.

She also did an interview with NBC that has not been broadcast. WASHINGTON (AP) In the first published account of her story, an Arkansas woman claims she was sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton 20 years ago while he was the state's attorney general Juanita Broaddrick's account of the alleged attack by Clinton appeared in Friday's op-ed pages of The Wall Street Journal White House spokesman Joe Lockhart was dismissive of the story. "I spend very little time reading the Wall Street Journal editorial -page," Lockhart told reporters. "They lost me after they accused the president of being a drug smuggler and a murderer." The story of the alleged attack on Mrs. Broaddrick has been circulating for years.

She has refused to comment until now. According to Mrs. Broaddrick, she first met Clinton when he visited the nursing home she ran in 1978. He was running for governor at the time; she was a campaign worker. Clinton invited her to visit him sometime at campaign headquarters in Little Rock, she said.

Rolling Stones sellout and set money record FARGO (AP) The Rolling Stones still know how to pack a crowd. The band's recent concert here was a sellout and the biggest moneymaker for the Fargo-derne. Dome Executive Director Paul Johnson said the concert, which was a sellout with 22,200 people, grossed a little more than $1.5 million. "We had the most tickets sold, dollar-wise, in the history of the building," he said. "It even surpassed the three Garth Brooks shows that we had, combined, last September." i Those three shows grossed $1.3 million, he said.

Fargo native Jonny Lang opened for the Stones, but Johnson said he was uncertain what role Lang's appearance had in selling out Wednesday's concert. think it just created added value," he said. "Most of the people were going to come anyway. And despite the huge crowd, Fargo-police made just five arrests. Two were for marijuana-related offenses and three for disorderly conduct.

'Johnson figures that after expenses, the dome will net about $100,000. That also will be among the highest one-night net revenues in the building's history, but Johnson doesn't know what the record is. The dome gets rent from acts that play there, but the biggest chunk of income comes from concessions, novelties and parking. The $125.50 top ticket price was the most expensive for the dome.
